WESTFIELD AREA MIDDLE SCHOOL
OXFORD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Oxford Elementary and Westfield Area Middle Schools have been named Title 1 Schools of Recognition by the Department of Public Instruction. Several staff members from each school will attend an awards ceremony at the state capital on May 1 in recognition of this honor. The schools are among 178 schools in Wisconsin recognized for high achievement in educating students from low income families.
“These school standout in their efforts to educate kids,” said Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Evers in a press release from the Department of Public Instruction. “They are staffed by dedicated educators who work with parents, families and the school community to support the needs of all kids through rigorous programming and attention to student needs.”
