A MESSAGE FROM JOHN EYERLY, DISTRICT ADMINISTRATOR
Welcome to the School District of Westfield, a progressive school district that takes great pride in providing a high-quality education for its students in a caring and supportive learning environment. Student achievement is of paramount importance and our teaching staff is working hard every day to provide the best educational program possible for our students. The districts professional development efforts are focused in Response to Intervention, Reading Recovery, Reading in the Content Areas and vocabulary development across all grade levels.
The district is large enough to offer a wide variety of student learning experiences and co-curricular activities and small enough to provide students the opportunity to participate in as many activities as they choose to pursue. We have a low student staff ratio that allows small group and individual attention on a regular basis.
Parental involvement and community support are assets of the district. Organizations such as the Booster Club, Post Prom Parents, FIE (Families in Education), PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) and Pioneer Youth Club, provide volunteer time and financial support to the districts various academic and co-curricular programs and activities.
Quality caring and compassionate staff and high expectations are traits that describe the culture of our district and make Westfield a great place to learn and work.
A list of school administration is included for your convenience.
