Congratulations to the Westfield Area High School band students who performed at State Festival at UW-Stevens Point on Saturday, May 2nd. The band had 11 State qualifying events, including five solos, four small ensembles, and two large ensembles, including 40 band students performing on the day.
The following students received a first rating at State: soloists Alyssa Prew, Gabby Ciaroni, and Joe Solterman; small ensembles, including duets by Alyssa Prew and Laly Calleros and Sergio Berruecos-Morales and Gabe Akers, and a quartet by Sergio Berruecos-Morales, Gabe Akers, Eli Goodwin, and Ben Anason.
The following students received a second rating at State: soloists Mia Fuehrer and Laly Calleros, and a small ensemble by Alyssa Prew, Laly Calleros, Gabby Ciaroni, and Joe Solterman.
Saxophone Choir and Percussion Ensemble both received a second rating at State.

Members of Percussion Ensemble included: Aida Numsen, Carmen Hendee, Thomas Johnson, John Rodger, Jabari Etuk, Abe Marotz, Cole Montgomery, Eli Olson, Archer Fetzer, Logan Dunn, Blake Parker, Carter Lloyd, Boyan Krastev, Gage Goodwin, Jayden Barrera, Gwen Weiland, and MJ Johnson.
