The High School Band performed their end of the year Pops concert on May 20th. The program included music from Beetlejuice, selections from Wicked, a tribute to Louis Armstrong, and a medley of Ozzy Osbourne hits. The senior song was "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus and was conducted by senior Matt Alcorta.
The graduating band seniors were recognized for their years of dedication and contributions to the program, this included the following students: Lydia Palmer, Mariana Moyotl, Halle Drew, Ari Klitzke, Lydia Wentland, Autumn Prew, Sergio Berruecos-Morales, Matt Alcorta, Saydee Kohnke, Lauren Holly, Isabell Nelson, Boyan Krastev, Eli Olson, Jayden Barrera, Gage Goodwin, Ella Carroll, and Guinevere Weiland.
The evening also included recognizing this year's academic letter winners for band, as well as the department Crescendo Award (Alyssa Prew), Louis Armstrong Jazz Award (Ella Carroll), Patrick S. Gilmore Award (Matt Alcorta), and the John Philip Sousa Award (Sergio Berruecos-Morales).
