The 4th grade class at Coloma Elementary School visited the school forest a few weeks ago to explore the beautiful woods and create “burrows” for the two main characters in their class read aloud Violet and Jobie: In the Wild. They did a great job using the steps of the engineering design process to plan and build their burrows for their mouse characters. They can’t wait to go back to the school forest again soon!
