On April 23rd, the Westfield High School Counselors took 17 students to the Findorff Trades Expo in Madison! This was Findorff's first ever event for high school students and it was a wonderful experience! Students had considerable hands-on experience in a variety of skilled trades which included Laborer, Carpenter, Bricklayer, Operator, Cement Finisher, and Ironworker. Many employees from Findorff were at the event throughout the day and had great conversations with our students, making memorable connections! The students were also able to talk to Union Representatives to learn more about apprenticeship opportunities. We are beyond thankful to have been invited to this event and look forward to attending again in the future!
