Congratulations to the following high school choir students on their acceptance into WSMA State Honors Choir! Students completed an audition in February where they were asked to sing a Class A Solo, and complete an aural and sight reading exercise. Being selected shows outstanding musicianship- out of the 1,300 auditions, only 430 students were selected to be invited to an ensemble. Students who have been selected will complete a week long camp in June to meet their ensemble mates and learn their music. Alternates have the opportunity to attend camp and participate in the ensemble if any member of the ensemble turns down their position. Congratulations to all! #Pioneers

Congratulations to sophomore trombonist Alyssa Prew for being accepted into the WSMA High School State Honors Music Project for Band! More than 1,300 students from across the state auditioned for 430 available positions across five different performance ensembles in vocal and instrumental music. Students accepted into this group are identified as among the premier high school musicians in the state of Wisconsin. #Pioneers

High school band students Zoey Schroeder and Finn Virch were accepted and participated in the annual On Point Band Festival at UW-Stevens Point on Friday, April 3rd, where they participated in masterclasses, rehearsals, and performed a concert for the public. #Pioneers
There will be no school for students on Monday, April 6th.
