Meet Arianna! She is a sophomore at Westfield Area High school. She is a featured ensemble and the understudy for Sophie's best friend Ali. You may have seen Arianna before as this is her 3rd WASH production. She has been in the Addams Family and Beauty and the Beast in recent years. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball and wrestling and has also participated in the choir for the last 5 years. She would like to thank the cast for making every musical such a great time. Finally, her favorite Abba song is Gimme, Gimme, Gimme!

Homecoming – October 10th
Join us as we celebrate our Pioneer Pride! Join us for the festivities and take a guided tour of our newly renovated spaces, and learn about the projects completed over the summer.

Meet Lydia! She is honored to take her final bow as Donna Sheridan in Mamma Mia! A senior, this marks her fifth and final WAHS musical, where the stage has truly become a second home. You may have seen her before as Mrs. Potts, Mal Beineke, Gingy, or Flotsam. This year, she has also gotten to serve as both dance and vocal captain. Beyond theater, Lydia loves being involved in school including athletics, clubs, and the music department. Leaving this stage is bittersweet, but she’s endlessly grateful for every rehearsal, every note sung, and every friendship formed along the way. When asked what her favorite Abba song is, she said, "Slipping Through My Fingers"!

She would like to thank Mrs. Trewin and previous directors, Ron and Linda, current and previous cast mates, the crew, the pit, her friends and family, and everyone who has supported the music department. Calling all Butter Braid and cookie lovers! The Westfield Area Choir Department will be holding our semi-annual Butter Braid and cookie fundraiser until October 6th. Meet Boyan! He is a senior this year at Westfield Area High School. Boyan is playing the role of Eddie, a worker at the taverna in this year's production of Mamma Mia. You may have seen Boyan before as this will be his second time performing in the musical. Outside of the musical Boyan participates in cross country, track and field, band, choir, and skis on his own time. Along with that he likes working on his computer and hanging out with friends. He would like to thank everyone that has supported him and helped him get to and be the person he is today. Finally, his favorite Abba song is Under Attack! Meet Jayden! He is a sophomore in high school this year and he will be in the ensemble for the main shows and the understudy for Sky. You may have seen him before as this will be his 3rd musical! Jayden was in The Little Mermaid Jr. and was Cogsworth in Beauty And The Beast. Jayden enjoys sports as he plays baseball and basketball. Meet Ella! She is a senior in high school this year and she will be a part of the featured ensemble and is the choreographer! Ella was last seen as a featured ensemble member and choreographer for Beauty and the Beast. She is very involved with the music department and this school as she loves music! When asked what her favorite Abba song is, she said "I Do, I Do, I Do"! Ella would like to thank Mrs.Trewin and her fellow cast mates for allowing her to feel apart of the family so late in high school! Meet Ben! He is a Junior this year. Ben will be portraying the role of Sam in Westfield Area High School's production of Mamma Mia. This is Ben's fifth musical at Westfield, and his 7th show total. Outside of the musical, Ben loves to play piano, sing in church choir, school choir, and all of the other choir events he participates in. Musical Theater is Ben's main passion. Ben enjoys participating in theater camps every summer at Chanhassen, and various other choir events such as, WSMA Honors Choir and Solo and Ensemble. When asked what his favorite Abba song is, he said, "Knowing Me Knowing Your"! Ben would like to thank his family, all the teachers who have got him here, and everyone who supported the music department, or the musical itself.
