Meet Mason, the latest member of the "Cast and Crew Member Spotlight"! Mason is a sophomore this year playing a featured ensemble member and Bill's understudy. He has done many musicals but his most notable was Beauty and the Beast where he played Maurice. Outside of the musical he likes to listen to music, play video games, and hangout with his friends. When asked what his favorite ABBA song is, he answered, "Take a Chance on Me"! He would also like to thank Mrs.Trewin for convincing him to participate in the musical this year. Next up in the "Cast and Crew Member Spotlight" is Emily! Emily is a freshman and is a Featured Ensemble member and understudy for Lisa for this year's musical "Mamma Mia". Emily was last seen on stage Crew for "Beauty and the Beast". Outside of the musical, Emily loves to draw anywhere she can and has been a dancer at Revita Dance Studio for nearly 10 years. Meet Serenity, the latest member in the "Cast and Crew Member Spotlight"! Serenity is a sophomore on stage crew. She has previously been in "The Little Mermaid JR.", "Matilda JR." "The Addams Family", "Beauty and The Beast" and "Shrek: The Musical"! This will be her first musical as Stage Crew but she is excited to try it out. She loves to read, write, and hang out with her friends. She would like to thank the cast and everyone else helping with the musical for helping and inspiring her to get this far. Our second "Cast and Crew Member Spotlight" of the day features Sidney, our stage manager! Sidney has been in 3 musicals and 2 plays, "The Little Mermaid JR.", "Shrek: The Musical", and "The Addams Family". She took a break from musicals her sophomore year and has come back this year to help behind the scenes. Sidney enjoys art like painting and drawing and spends lots of time outside. FCCLA officers and select members attended the Fall leadership conference held at the UW Stevens Point Campus. They worked and met with members from 26 chapters from around the state to learn new opportunities and leadership techniques. The conference had 256 attendees. The students got to meet state officers. They attended breakout sessions of their choosing with topics of fundraising, leading from within, mastering competitive events, intro into events for nationals and regionals, going beyond the blazer and opportunities for the future in FCS and college programming. They learned about organizations planning and event opportunities to help their communities and service project development as well. A fun and educational day for all. #Pioneers

*Drum roll* Introducing... Olivia! Olivia is a sophomore at Westfield this year, and is the Rosie understudy in this years production of "Mamma Mia". This will be her third musical she has been a part of. Besides being in the musical, she enjoys Jazz Choir and Band, science, and everything music. She's been dancing for over ten years. She wants to thank Mrs. Trewin for putting together an amazing show mostly by herself, and Dr. Steward for helping her discover her love of music. She'd also like to thank her mom and Godmother for always believing in her and believing she could get the role. Give it up for Peyton, a sophomore playing Ali. She has performed many musicals in the past including The Little Mermaid Jr., Shrek: The Musical, Matilda Jr., The Adams Family, and Beauty and the Beast. Outside of the musical, she enjoys cheer leading, basketball, track, band and choir. Her message to the audience is, "Thank you so so much for coming. And enjoy the show!!" 5th Grade Students at Westfield Elementary School took a field trip to Brakebush, Bros. While there, students took a live tour through the plant to see how chicken was processed and boxed. They learned how to put on the uniform that each of the workers must wear and found out what each color represented that they saw throughout the plant. They created their own type of chicken, named it, and decided what types of seasonings they would use to make their chicken. Finally, they visited the Research and Development lab where they had cookies, caramel apples, and took part in a "sticky and icky" lab. Students were even able to try some of the chicken for lunch! Introducing... Eli, the latest member in our "Cast and Crew Member Spotlight"! Eli is a senior this year playing Harry Bright. Mamma Mia is Eli's 5th and final musical here at WAHS.
