Students in Mrs. Francis' and Mrs. Wilson's 4th grade classes at Westfield Elementary School wrapped up their unit on Area and Perimeter by using yard sticks and tape measures to find the area and perimeter of different sized rectangles. Students were then given a treat for a job well done! #Pioneers

To wrap up Read Across America Week, Marquette County EMT's Kathy, Tiffany, and Rachel, along with Judge Hendee, came into Mrs. Wilson's 4th grade class to read a book to students as well as answer questions that students had about their respective positions. The class thanks everyone who took time to come and visit last week! #Pioneers

Thank you to the Marquette County Sheriff's Department, Haddie Showen, Chief Jason Stauffacher from the Village of Westfield Fire Department, and Dan Winger and Warden Emmerich from FCI Oxford for coming in and sharing their love of reading with Mrs. Winger's 1st grade class at Westfield Elementary School for Read Across America Week. #Pioneers

Thank you to Captain Tomlin and Glory for coming to visit Mrs. Wilson's 4th grade class to help kick off Read Across America Week last week. Captain Tomlin not only read a book to the students, but her furry pal, Glory, was also willing to give out free kisses. #Pioneers
