Our "Cast and Crew Member Spotlight" turns to Lydia, who plays the Enchantress and understudies Lumiere. She also helped with choreography in the show! You may have last seen Lydia in "The Addams Family" or "Shrek: The Musical". Outside of the musical, Lydia enjoys music and dancing at Revita Dance studios. Today, the cast member spotlight shines on Arianna! Arianna is a freshman playing the Lady with the Babies. She was last seen in Westfield's production of "The Addams Family", and Montello's "We Will Rock You" and "Newsies". Outside of the musical, she enjoys wrestling, basketball, soccer, volleyball, and track. When she was asked "If you could be an item in the Enchanted Castle, what would you be?", Arianna answered, "earrings"! On October 8th, select members of Concert Choir attended the UW-Platteville High School Choral Festival. At this festival, students learned 4 pieces of music, and sang with singers from high schools across the state. At the end of the day, they gave a concert of the music they had prepared. Shout out to senior choir member Alyssa who has been selected to participate in this festival all four years of high school! #Pioneers

Beauty and the Beast will be the 4th musical she has been in. Outside of the musical Maddy enjoys singing, reading, and annoying Patrick. The High School Volleyball team honored the teachers on Teacher Appreciation Night on October 3rd. Each player picked a teacher that has made an impact on their academic and athletic journey thus far. Players then designed a personalized shirt for their staff member to wear to the game! The Westfield Middle School Cross Country Team competed in the Middle School State Championships in Weyauwega on Saturday. Nine of the runners ran their personal best time for the 2 mile race! Congratulations to Flynn on earning a medal as the third 6th grade boy to cross the finish!

Fourth graders in Mrs. Francis‘s class have been working on writing complete sentences with subjects and predicates. In a recent activity, students worked collaboratively to identify complete sentences and fragments to be complete sentences.
